  • Whether there is no cooling fluid or fuel leak between interfaced details, from joints of pipe ducts and through layer pads;
  • Whether there is no afterdribble of oil from under a ring gasket of an oil filter and through layer pads;
  • pressure of oil;
  • firing point installation;
  • a rotary speed kolenvala idling; leakproofness of joint of the carburettor with the inlet pipe duct;
  • Whether there are no extraneous knocks.

If extraneous knocks or failures are found out, to stop the engine, to eliminate them, and then to continue tests.

At an oil afterdribble through a layer pad between an oil crankcase of the engine and the cylinder block to tighten bolts with the recommended moment.

If the oil leak does not stop, to check up quality of layer pads and if necessary to replace them.

At an oil afterdribble through a layer pad between a cover and a cylinder block head to check up a layer pad and rubber inserts on hairpins of fastening of a cover of a head of cylinders. If necessary to replace a layer pad and barrels.

As after repair of the engine of its detail were not earned extra yet and the friction of work faces of new details shows considerable resistance to rotation, the certain period extra earnings is necessary.

Specified, in particular, concerns those engines with which buckets, liners shatunnyh and main bearers, pereshlifovany crankshaft journals, and also othoningovany cylinders have been replaced.

Therefore during a running in of the repaired engine it is not necessary to lead up it to the maximum loadings.

The engine break-in on the car should proceed with observance of those speeds of movement which are recommended for the new car.
